Hi! I'm a freelance print designer located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated high school in 2002, after which I started at community college and obtained my AS degree. My goal was to continue onto a 4 year university, but it took a while to get my AS degree due to my underlying health issues caused by Cystic Fibrosis. In 2007, I received my first double-lung transplant which ultimately derailed me from continuing my college education. Fortunately, a family friend owned an accounting firm and offered me a position as a bookkeeper. I worked at the accounting firm for 14 years. Bookkeeping was never a dream of mine, but I enjoy math and the hustle-and-bustle of tax season. During the last 10 years I have been pursuing design opportunities. Whether it’s decorating cakes or furnishing our home, drawing, or digital design projects, I always find a way to use my creativity.

Over the years I’ve received certifications from Noble Desktop, NYC in various design programs like the Adobe Suite and Print Design Fundamentals. I’ve used these skills to do volunteer work at my church in their women’s and student ministries, create invitations, design bound books, magazines, event advertisements, posters, logo design, and more. My main focus has been in print design although I've come to really enjoy website design as well. This is my first website that I have fully coded. It's not perfect but I'm still proud of what I've created. I have more experience working in website CMS (Content Management Systems) like Wordpress, but have enjoyed learning the basics of HTML and CSS coding. After years of hard work and waiting for my health to stabilize, it is my honor to announce that I will be finally graduating in the spring of 2023 with my BA in Digital Design with an Emphasis in Web Design from Grand Canyon University.

In my spare time I enjoy doodling, golfing, reading, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs.

Draw Doodles, not swords.

Check out some of my work.
